According to The Athletic, Chelsea is in official talks with Palmeiras regarding the acquisition of Estêvão Willian. The Londoners are sure that they will manage to acquire the 17-year-old winger.
Palmeiras is ready to accept an offer of €30 million plus performance-based bonuses. The Brazilian club concluded a similar agreement with Real Madrid regarding Endrick. The 17-year-old will move to the Spanish capital for EUR 35 million plus EUR 25 million in add-ons.
In Brazil, Estêvão Willian is called "Messinho". He made his debut in the Palmeiras first team last season. This season he played in five league matches and scored one goal. The 17-year-old also scored three goals and provided three assists during last year's Under-17 World Cup, where Brazil reached the quarter-finals.
Chelsea has a scout in Brazil who regularly watches Estêvão Willian's actions, while other clubs send their representatives to the Land of Coffee for single matches, i.e. much shorter periods.
If Estêvão Willian's transfer to Chelsea actually takes place, the winger will move to Europe when he turns 18, i.e. in April 2025 at the earliest.

Told initial bid still to be sent but it will be around €32m plus add-ons, as talks with Palmeiras will follow.
Nothing done yet but #CFC remain clear favorites since January.

Representantes do Chelsea vão marcar presença no jogo do Palmeiras contra o Independiente del Valle, nesta quarta-feira (15) à noite, no Allianz Parque, pela Copa Libertadores. Os ingleses estão no Brasil por causa de Estêvão.

Der 17-jährige Estêvão würde dann mit Volljährigkeit im kommenden Sommer 2025 aus São Paulo nach London wechseln.
